Project Overview

This was a rapid development of an existing heritage wharf shed. As building began, design work was still under progress.


We were involved from the early phases of design to completion, overseeing the tender process, budgeting, and PSUM expenditure of the cost plan. Shed 23 is a mixed-use complex consisting of apartments, parking, retail, and restaurant, café, and bar spaces.


We valued engineered products, various elements and worked closely with the architect and engineers to ensure that the heritage aspects of the structure were kept while maintaining modern building standards with materials like Kevlar, lightweight concrete toppings, and GRC panels.


We also managed subcontract concerns and strengthened ties during a potential developer arbitration.


Details were decided upon here, which would be followed throughout the wharf redevelopment.
