Rose Garden Apartments Albany

The project included 6 buildings, a podium, basement carparking, 201 apartments, significant landscaping and a new road.

Working alongside the main contractors Project Manager onsite we carried out tendering, contract negotiations and awarded large subcontract packages.

The main components of the structure comprised AFS permanent formwork wall system, several types of precast flooring, Designer series cladding formed the façade.

The QS scope also included several VE changes, managing a large number of provisional sums and dealing with labour resource issues.

This was New Zealand's largest apartment project underway at the time.
